Mark your calendars for New Journey’s 13th Food for Kidz Food Pack.  The 2025 event will be held on Wednesday, February 26.  The New Journey Lutheran Church Food for Kidz Team met May 29.  The following Goals were set for 2025:

From ages 5-95 and everywhere in between, there were 150 community volunteers who gathered at the Fountain Hills Community Center for the 11th Annual Fountain Hills Community Food Pack – Food for Kidz.

The New Journey Food for Kidz Team, thanks you for participating. You were the hands and feet of Jesus, giving of your time and talents. You helped make the food pack a success.

In these 11 years, 1915 community volunteers have packed a total of 704,200 meals during this event.

To our New Journey Lutheran community, “Great job!” Together, we have made steps toward alleviating hunger in our community and around the world. Your contribution helped us pack 64,000 meals for our hungry neighbors—thank you!

New Journey Food for Kidz Team

The Food for Kidz Food Pack happens this month! Join us on February 29, 2024 as we pack food with our community for our community. The event will be held again this year at the Fountain Hills Community Center from 5:30 to 7:30 pm with set up beginning at 3:00 pm.

Thank you to Denny Rubenow, Gwen Rubenow, and Kris Bartanen for working together to bring Food 4 Kidz back after a 3-year hiatus. A big thank you to all the friends and members of New Journey Lutheran Church who worked together to organize and support this community event, and to our financial partners: Church of the Ascension and Shepherd of the Hills.

Thanks to the generosity of 225 volunteers, the March 2 Fountain Hills Food Pack for Food for Kidz provided 72,000 meals for hungry neighbors near and far.

Mark your calendars to volunteer for the Fountain Hills Food Pack, which will be held on Thursday, March 2 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Community Center. We are in need of 200 volunteers to pack dehydrated meals.

New Journey Lutheran Church, ELCA, in Fountain Hills is hosting its ninth community food pack. The event will be Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Fountain Hills Community Center.
