Mesa's "Off the Streets" Program

The final issue that New Journey will be supporting on Reformation Sunday is Mesa’s “Off the Streets” Program. This bill will help the City of Mesa purchase the Grand Hotel at 6733 E. Main Street so that they can help provide temporary housing and support for those experiencing homelessness.

Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest has a long history of advocating for the unhoused in our community. Our I-HELP programs serves individuals who are unhoused and helps them get back on their feet. Our Advocacy Committee is dedicated to advocating for Affordable Housing. We are passionate about working together to find different solutions and believe that the City of Mesa’s plan would benefit many in the community.
