Pray Ground
Children are a vital part of any worshipping community and they are most welcome to worship with New Journey Lutheran Church. We understand that children’s bodies relate differently to worship than grown-ups and so we make space for wiggles, noise, and movement during worship. To accommodate children’s unique worship needs, we have created a “pray ground”. This is an area in our worship space outfitted with toys, books and coloring supplies where children may gather for holy play and worship. Our “pray ground” is set up near a door in case the wiggles get big and the kids need some fresh air during the worship service.
