Why You Should Join Us
We are excited to invite you to our NEVC Walk for Water, a community event aimed at supporting the water project at NELM. This event is not just a walk; it's an opportunity to come together, enjoy nature, and make a difference in the lives of those in need.
Event Highlights
Full Amenities: Enjoy the convenience of parking, restrooms, shade, a water fill station, trail maps, and interpretive signage.
Accessible Trails: The barrier-free trailhead and accessible trails are designed for every age and ability. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome on the Bajada Nature Trail, which offers a 0.25 or 0.5-mile loop. For those seeking more adventure, other trails of varying lengths and difficulty are available.
Important Reminders: Don't forget to bring sunscreen, a water bottle, a hat, sturdy walking or hiking shoes, and your spirit of friendship!
How You Can Help
Walkers can be sponsored through lump sum donations. All monies raised will go directly to support the water project at NELM. Your participation and generosity will help provide much-needed hydration to those in the desert heat.
Collecting Water Bottles
In addition to the walk, we are also collecting clean, used, or new reusable water bottles. You can bring them to the walk or deposit them at your church.
Let's come together to help hydrate others in need.
We look forward to seeing you there and making a positive impact together. Thank you for your support!
