Thank you: “Celebrate & Dream” NJLC’s 10 Year Anniversary

The Lord has done great things for us, and we rejoiced. Psalm 126:3

Thank you to all who attended New Journey Lutheran Church’s 10 Year Anniversary Celebration on February 17 at the Fountain Hills Community Center—we are grateful to God for the ways we have lived out our faith and contributed to the mission of God in Fountain Hills.

A special thanks to the 10 Year Anniversary Celebration Planning Team, led by Roger Westland, for their unique contributions to our celebration. Ron and Deb Bigley, Mary Burritt, Karen Bowman, Gwen Rubenow, and Beulah Westland—together, by God’s grace, we accomplished a wonderful event.

Thank you to all who participated in various roles during the celebration—ministry highlight video interviews, sorting through photos for slideshows, tech support, pastor’s panel, lunch service, decor, cake ordering, special gifts for our attendees, program leadership. With God’s help, many hands contributed to our joyous celebration.

And finally, a special thanks to Rev. Miguel Gomez-Acosta, Senior Director for New Ministry Development and Evangelism from the ELCA for facilitating our afternoon “dreaming” sessions. We are grateful for his expertise, wisdom, and encouragement over the last 10 years of ministry.
