Exciting Event for Young Adults in Phoenix!
With the energy from the recent ELCA Young Adult Gathering still buzzing, there’s a new chance for young adults in the Phoenix area to connect and grow. Starting this September, young adults from the Grand Canyon Synod can join monthly events focused on connection, fun, and spiritual growth.
These gatherings are led by young adult leaders from The West Valley Young Adult Community, University Lutheran, First Evangelical, and Our Savior’s Mesa, with support from Pastor Ahriana Dill, Pastor Luis Ochoa, Kim McCracken, and Casey Goslin. These events aim to enhance existing young adult ministries within the synod.
The first event is on Monday, September 9th, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at Main Event in Tempe. For $12.99, attendees can enjoy unlimited bowling (shoe rental extra). It’s a great opportunity for young adults aged 19-35 to meet new people, have fun, and build community in a relaxed setting.
The goal is to create a space for young adults across the Grand Canyon Synod to enrich their faith journey. There’s also an effort to connect with other young adult groups in central Phoenix to grow this vibrant community.
Mark your calendars, spread the word, and join for a night of fun and fellowship. Stay tuned for more details about upcoming events, including the Young Adult Winter Retreat.
