Community Food Pack Photos

In just two hours, 376 community members came together in an incredible display of teamwork and compassion, setting up and packing an astounding 140,800 meals!

Because of this collective effort, we were able to provide 17,600 meals—a full pallet—to our own Extended Hands Food Bank. Another pallet was delivered to AZ Brainfood, ensuring that 59 students at McDowell Elementary receive essential food packets every Thursday. Additionally, we extended our reach by delivering meals to Grace in the City and Native American Connection, supporting even more individuals in need. Internationally, we were honored to send meals to Ukraine and Haiti, offering relief to communities facing immense challenges.

The energy in the room was truly inspiring as volunteers worked together to make a difference. A special thank you, New Journey Lutheran, for your unwavering support of our community.

This event was a powerful reminder that being the church extends far beyond the walls of a building.  It was about more than just packing meals; it was about bringing our community together, setting differences aside, and showing compassion and love through action. Because of the volunteers and New Journey Lutheran’s support, lives have been touched, hope has been shared, and meals have been provided to those in need.

Thank you for being a vital part of this mission.
