Last Call: August 25 for Reusable Water Bottles

Thank you to all who have brought reusable water bottles for University Lutheran’s (Tempe) Anti-Hunger team! We are collecting through August 25. When Autumn Byars visits New Journey, she will take them with her back to University Lutheran in Tempe.

Water bottles will be given to and distributed by Grace Lutheran Church and Native American Urban Ministry for our neighbors experiencing homelessness in the downtown Phoenix area.

“We are trying to care for creation and our neighbors experiencing homelessness by reducing single-plastic use and providing refillable water bottles. We can care for our neighbors in ways that promotes sustainability and reduces waste,” says, Hunger Fellow and member of University Lutheran, Autumn Byars.
