Click Maundy Thursday @ Home to download your guide. Maundy Thursday is our remembrance of the Last Supper Jesus shared with his disciples. The Word maundy comes from the Latin, Maundatum, from which our word “mandate” is derived. Jesus gives a repeated mandate throughout John 13-17, commanding us to love one another. Within these five chapters, we find so much beauty: the last supper and the celebration of communion, Jesus’ washing of His disciples’ feet, prophetic words of His impending death, His loving prayer, and His command to love one another.
