You are invited for a six-week study created by David Lose titled: “Making Sense of the Cross” on Wednesdays at 10:00 am by Zoom. The study explores biblical witness and what Christianity’s most thoughtful and important theologians have said about the cross, comparing them with our own experiences as Christians living in the world.
We explore questions like:
How should we regard the cross?
Is it a tragedy that we should grieve or a moment of God’s victory and redemption that we should celebrate?
Is it the place where we stand in awe of God’s incomprehensible love poured out for us?
Is it all of these things or something else altogether?
Though it is not a requirement to attend the study, the Christian Education team recommends each participant purchase a copy of David Lose’s book, Making Sense of the Cross, and read the first chapter ahead of our first session on March 23.
To sign up for the study, please email our Communications Coordinator, Susan Brahs at email@example.com to receive the Zoom link.
